Ezeigbo Ghana Celebrates High Chief Mike Ejiogu on Onowu Igboland Title

The Eze Ndigbo of Ghana, HRM Eze (Dr.) Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, has congratulated High Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu, a renowned real estate mogul and philanthropist, on his recent conferment as Onowu Igboland by the South East Council of Traditional Rulers.

In a goodwill message personally signed and released through his Media Strategy Director, Njoku Macdonald Obinna, Eze Ihenetu described the honour as “well-deserved for a worthy son of Igboland whose leadership and contributions are widely felt across Imo State and beyond.”

He commended High Chief Ejiogu for his selfless commitment to community development, philanthropy, and youth empowerment, noting that his initiatives have transformed the lives of many young people through skills acquisition and entrepreneurship.

According to Eze Ihenetu, the prestigious Onowu Igboland title also reflects Ejiogu’s unwavering support for Igbo cultural heritage and traditional institutions across Alaigbo.

Joining other Igbo leaders and dignitaries across Nigeria and the diaspora, the Ezeigbo Ghana prayed for wisdom and strength for the new Onowu as he takes on this rare honour, describing him as “a beacon of hope and pride for Igboland.”
