NAFIAM Graduates 23 Officers, Reaffirms Commitment to Nation-Building
The Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM) has graduated 23 officers from the Young Officers’ Course (YOC) 19/2025 during a ceremony held at NAF Base Kaduna.
The intensive programme featured a renewed curriculum aimed at improving the officers’ competence in staff duties, service knowledge, and unconventional warfare — marking a key milestone in their professional development and operational readiness within the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).
Speaking at the event, the Special Guest of Honour, Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command (AOC GTC), Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Shinkafi, stressed the importance of continuous training and capacity building as the foundation for professionalism and excellence in military service.

“Training remains the bedrock of a professional force. I commend the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, for his commitment to human capacity development through deliberate and mission-oriented training,” AVM Shinkafi said.
Earlier, the Commandant of NAFIAM, Air Vice Marshal Mohammed Yusuf, congratulated the graduates for their diligence and discipline, urging them to sustain the spirit of continuous learning.
“The skills and knowledge that were sufficient yesterday may not be enough for the challenges of tomorrow,” AVM Yusuf remarked.
“At NAFIAM, we remain aligned with the Chief of the Air Staff’s philosophy of deliberate training and mission-oriented force development.”
He appreciated the support and guidance of the AOC Ground Training Command, whose leadership continues to advance the Institute’s success.
The event underscores the Nigerian Air Force’s enduring commitment to capacity building, professionalism, and nation-building through deliberate and forward-thinking training initiatives.
