President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has postponed his scheduled trip to Iperu, Ogun State, earlier planned for Thursday, in order to visit Jos, Plateau State, as part of a four-state itinerary.
According to a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the President will travel to Jos, the Plateau State capital, to commiserate with the government and people of the state following recent gun attacks that claimed the lives of innocent citizens.

After the visit to Plateau, President Tinubu is expected to proceed to Lagos to observe the Good Friday holiday.

On Saturday, April 4, the President will travel to Ogun State for the commissioning of the Gateway International Cargo Airport and the inauguration of two commercial aircraft intended to support the export and import of goods, in a move aimed at boosting the state’s economic growth.

During the Ogun visit, President Tinubu will also inaugurate the new edifice of the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigeria Customs Service, as well as its operational vehicles.

He will thereafter return to Lagos to continue the Easter holiday, during which he is also expected to commission key infrastructure projects executed by the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The projects slated for inauguration include the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos State Geographic Information System Building, the Multi-Agency Complex named after the President, and a school complex.

Before returning to Abuja, President Tinubu is also expected to visit Bayelsa State on April 10 to commission completed projects undertaken by Governor Douye Diri.
