At the closing, Ojukwu announced key outcomes of the session, including:

  • Activation of the Joint Commission between both countries.
  • Signing of MOUs in strategic sectors, including Education, Health, Defence, Banking, Oil and Gas, Aviation, Culture, Youth Development, and Media.
  • Consideration of two “twinning agreements”: Bayelsa (Nigeria) with Namibe (Angola), and Nasarawa (Nigeria) with Bengo (Angola).

In total, 13 out of 19 draft agreements were finalized and signed, while four dedicated working groups were established to streamline implementation and future cooperation.

Amb. Ojukwu noted that the agreements will not only boost bilateral trade and investment but also foster cultural exchange, youth empowerment, and stronger people-to-people ties.
