GRACE, GRATITUDE AND GLADNESS

Let us say that grace is what you cannot do, doing itself on your behalf, often to your advantage and beyond your imagination. Those on whom fortune has smiled โ€” the ones who have escaped terrible accidents, been healed of serious ailments, or had profound family and spiritual experiences โ€” may connect with this truth more easily. So too can those of us who came from very humble beginnings and witnessed doors open in ways we could never have engineered on our own.

It is harder to explain grace to those who believe they achieved everything solely through their own strength, intelligence, and abilities. Yet, when you truly encounter grace, you cannot help but be grateful.

Gratitude is a thankful state of mind โ€” an awareness that you have received favour, support, or unseen help working quietly in your favour. Sadly, many do not always recognize when something is working for their good. Even setbacks, at times, are hidden blessings redirecting us toward better outcomes.

And yet, we often fail to give thanks because we are not where we think we should be. But gratitude has its own reward. People who practice it are naturally happier, lighter, and more hopeful.

To be glad is to demonstrate appreciation โ€” for the grace we already enjoy, the good things around us, and the promise of much better things to come. And that one word โ€” hope โ€” carries within it the power to sustain our gladness.

๐Ÿ’ซ Truly, you have countless reasons to be happy.
