The Executive and members of Anara Town Union, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, have expressed heartfelt joy over the recent honour bestowed on their illustrious son—High Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu (Onowu Anara, Ancient Kingdom).

High Chief Ejiogu was recently conferred with the revered title of “Aka Ekpuchionwa Igboland” by the South East Council of Traditional Rulers — a recognition the Union described as both well-deserved and long overdue.

In a joint statement signed by Mazi Ben Alaegbu, President General of Anara Town Union, and Engr. Remi Iwuamadi, Secretary General, the Union praised High Chief Ejiogu’s track record as a philanthropist, community builder, peacemaker, and employer of labour.

They described him as “a beacon of hope,” with reference to their goodwill message as captured by the Publisher of 4th Estate Reporters, Njoku Macdonald Obinna.

Eulogizing the prestigious titleholder further, they hailed him as “a champion of youth development and a catalyst for economic empowerment, whose selfless service continues to uplift our community and preserve Igbo rich cultural heritage.”

The Anara Town Union affirmed that the entire community, and Imo State at large, are proud to be associated with High Chief Ejiogu, whose leadership and generosity have touched countless lives.
