LT. Col Isa attains Associate Professor of intelligence and security

Lt. Col. Awwal Isa from Taraba State has made history as Nigeria’s first Associate Professor of Intelligence and Security.

Isa, who hails from Taraba state, is the pioneer Head of the Department of Intelligence and Security Science at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

Lt. Col. Awwal Isa, an indigenous Taraban holds a BSc. Political Science from the University of Maiduguri, MSc. in International Relations from the University of Abuja, and a Master of Arts in Security & Intelligence Studies from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. A PhD in Security and Intelligence Studies from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom.

His passion for intelligence dates back years, and he has shown resilience, dedication, and commitment in his pursuit of academic excellence. In a professional and academic journey. Lt Col Isa has shown a remarkable blend of scholarship and service to Nigeria. Lt Col Isa Awwal’s elevation is a groundbreaking achievement, not only for the Nigerian Defence Academy but also for the entire nation’s security education sector.
