Onyendu Ndigbo Nauzoije , The Diasporan leader of Ndigbo in Ghana, HRM.Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Ihenetu, has joined well-meaning Nigerians in congratulating Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu on her elevation to the substantive position of Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as a demonstration of good governance.

Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s appointment follows the resignation of Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, as announced on Wednesday by the presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.

Tuggar reportedly stepped down to pursue his political ambitions ahead of the 2027 elections.

Prior to her new role, Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu served as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
In a statement signed at his Obieziokwu Palace in Ghana and made available through his Country Director for Media and Strategy,

Njoku Macdonald Obinna, Eze Ihenetu described Ambassador Ojukwu as a God-fearing and distinguished leader who has consistently championed the welfare of Nigerians in the diaspora.

He recalled her impactful service as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain and her tenure as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, noting that she carried out her duties with diligence, integrity, and unwavering patriotism.

The royal father concluded by wishing her continued success in her new role and expressed confidence in her ability to further strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic relations on the global stage.
