Lagos LG poll: Ajose Peter Kumayon emerges Olorunda Chairman-elect
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Ajose Peter Kumayon (APK), has emerged as the Chairman-Elect of Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) following the conclusion of the local government elections held across Lagos State.
According to the LASIEC Returning Officer, Adegboyega Samuel Oladiran, APK secured a total of 28,799 votes, while the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate received 562 votes.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), despite not fielding a chairmanship candidate, recorded 470 votes.The result reflects the continued confidence of the electorate in the APC’s leadership and vision for the party.
