Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday commissioned several developmental projects in Katsina State, reaffirming the federal government’s commitment to good governance and sustainable progress across the nation.

Speaking during the event, which was also highlighted on his official Facebook page, the Vice President said:

“In Katsina, I commissioned the dual carriage road from Central Mosque – Kofar Marusa – Kiddies Roundabout to WTC Roundabout (Road 4), constructed by the state government under the leadership of Governor Dikko Umar Radda.”

Following the road commissioning, Shettima inaugurated the state-of-the-art Agricultural Data and Control Centre — a key component of the Katsina State Sustainable Platform for Agriculture (KASPA).

The Vice President noted that the facility represents a forward-thinking approach to governance and agricultural management, emphasizing its role in enhancing data-driven decision-making and empowering farmers across the state.

“I toured the edifice and had real-time interactions with some beneficiaries of the project scattered across the state,” Shettima said. “Indeed, it is a reflection of leadership foresight — one that combines infrastructure development with innovation to address the state’s unique challenges.”

The Vice President commended Governor Radda for prioritizing projects that blend modern technology with social impact, describing them as vital steps toward sustainable development and improved livelihoods for the people of Katsina.
