President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday paid his second visit to Kaduna in two months, underscoring the city’s enduring place in Nigeria’s political and cultural history.

During the visit, the President stopped at the home of his brother, friend, and late leader, President Muhammadu Buhari, where he commiserated with the family. Tinubu assured them that Buhari’s legacy of patriotism, sacrifice, and service to the nation would be preserved and carried forward.

“President Buhari’s life was defined by duty and love for Nigeria. His legacy will remain a guidepost for generations,” Tinubu affirmed.

Later, the President joined Senator Abdulaziz Yari and his family at the wedding of his son, Nasirudeen, and Safiyya Shehu Idris, which took place at Sultan Bello Mosque, Kaduna. Tinubu prayed for the young couple to build their union on faith, love, and mutual respect.

“May their marriage be blessed, and may their home stand as a beacon of peace and love,” he prayed.

Reflecting on the day, Tinubu highlighted the city’s significance as a place where Nigerians gather to both grieve and celebrate, saying Kaduna represents the values of faith, resilience, and unity of purpose that bind the country together.

“May God bless Nigeria, keep us united, and guide us always,” he concluded.
