President Tinubu Decorates Chief of Air Staff, Other Service Chiefs
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on Thursday, October 2025, decorated the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, with his new rank at the State House, Abuja.
The ceremony also featured the decoration of the Chief of Defence Staff, other newly appointed Service Chiefs, and the Chief of Defence Intelligence with their respective ranks.
Vice President Kashim Shettima and other senior government officials were in attendance, lending solemnity to the occasion. The event marked a significant milestone in the ongoing transformation and professionalization of the Nigerian Armed Forces under the Tinubu administration.
