NAF graduates 114 Air Provosts, legal personnel to strengthen discipline, security
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated 114 airmen and airwomen from the Air Provost Special Investigation and other sundry courses at the Air Provost Training Centre (APTC), reaffirming its commitment to developing a disciplined, professional and mission-ready force.
Speaking at the combined graduation ceremony held at the APTC Multipurpose Hall on Friday, 17 July 2026, the Guest of Honour, the Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command, Air Vice Marshal AG Kehinde, described the Centre as a beacon of excellence, noting that within six years of its establishment, it has consistently produced highly skilled Air Provost and Legal personnel who continue to enhance discipline and security across the Service.
The Guest of Honour stated that the specialist training aligns with one of the key enablers of the Chief of the Air Staff’s Command Philosophy, “Deliberate Training and Mission-Oriented Force Development,” stressing that the evolving security environment requires personnel who embody professionalism, integrity, discipline and adaptability.
He urged the graduating personnel to uphold the core values of the Nigerian Air Force, remain accountable in the discharge of their duties and make judicious use of Service resources. He also commended the Air Provost Marshal, Director of Legal Services, the Commandant, instructors and staff of the Centre for their dedication to training, assuring them of Headquarters Nigerian Air Force’s continued support toward sustaining the Centre’s training efforts.
