Hon. Iheanyichukwu Ugochukwu Congratulates Chief Iheanyi Chilasa (Agu Bende) on Appointment as Abia State Chief Liaison Officer, Abuja

Labour Party stalwart and businessman, Hon. Iheanyichukwu Ugochukwu (Prince Ugo), has joined the people of Bende and Abia State at large to felicitate Chief Iheanyi Frank Chilasa (Agu Bende) on his new appointment as the Chief Liaison Officer, Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja.

In a goodwill message shared with the media, Hon. Ugo described Chief Chilasa as “a proven achiever and a committed son of the soil whose dedication to the progress of Abia has long spoken for him.”

“This appointment is a well-deserved recognition of Chief Chilasa’s loyalty, capacity, and consistent drive for human and community development. His elevation is not only a personal milestone but also a collective pride for Ndi-Abia and Ndi-Bende. I have no doubt he will deliver quality service that aligns with the Abia Arise vision of Governor Alex Otti,” Hon. Ugo stated.

Prince Ugo, convener of Alex Otti 2027 in Ghana, also appreciated the Governor for entrusting greater responsibilities to Uzuakoli’s illustrious son.

He highlighted that beyond his previous role as Liaison Officer to the National Assembly, Chief Chilasa’s new office now places him as the Governor’s direct representative in the Federal Capital Territory. His responsibilities include overseeing state assets, staff, and key institutions such as the Governor’s Lodge, Abia Investment House, and the Abia Diaspora Desk.

“This is a mark of great trust,” Hon. Ugo noted. “We thank Governor Otti for recognising and rewarding capacity and hard work.”

Concluding his message, Hon. Ugo reaffirmed the support of the Uzuakoli people for Governor Otti’s progressive leadership and wished Chief Chilasa a successful tenure:
