Jehovah’s Witnesses Launch Global Campaign to Share Bible’s Answer to War

Jehovah’s Witnesses are rolling out a worldwide educational campaign in September 2025 aimed at addressing one of humanity’s most pressing questions: Will there ever be an end to war?

The campaign, involving more than 9 million volunteers in over 240 lands, will focus on the distribution of the No.1 2025 edition of The Watchtower magazine, titled “An End to War – How?”

At a time when wars continue to devastate regions such as Ukraine, Gaza, and Sudan, the initiative seeks to offer what the Witnesses describe as a Bible-based solution to lasting peace.

“We live in a time where violent conflicts, even large-scale wars, are surging. We believe that this magazine will bring hope not only to the millions of people suffering from the violence that war inflicts but also to anyone who is searching for peace in their life,” said Olusegun Eroyemi, spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nigeria.

The featured Watchtower edition addresses critical questions about war and peace, including:

Finding Peace Despite War and Violent Conflict

The publication also highlights what Jehovah’s Witnesses call the most hopeful answer of all: a time when wars will completely end, echoing the prayerful words of Jesus Christ in what is often referred to as the Lord’s Prayer.

Community Engagement: Talks & Free Literature

As part of the campaign, Jehovah’s Witnesses will also host a special 30-minute Bible talk at their places of worship, known as Kingdom Halls, titled:
“An End to War – How?”

These talks are open to the public, free of charge, and no collections are taken.

In addition, the Watchtower magazine will be available for free digital download on jw.org, the official website of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where all content is accessible without subscription or login.
