Gov Fubara approves construction of shoreline protection in Rivers communities

Às part of effort to promote good governance in Rivers State, Gov Similaye Fubra on Thursday during the State Executive Council meeting
approved the revalidation of the construction of a 4.8km reinforced concrete shoreline protection and reclamation project at Queens Town, Epellema–Iloma–Minima Communities in Opobo/Nkoro LGA; the construction of a 2.5km shoreline protection and reclamation project in Ndoni, Oniukwu, Isuikwu and Ase-Azaga Communities, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA; the construction of another 2.5km shoreline protection and reclamation project for Utuechi, Obiofu, Isala, Ani Eze, and Odugiri Communities, also in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA; as well as the renovation, retrofitting and furnishing of the Rivers State Secretariat Complex, Port Harcourt.

Also, in a meeting with Traditional Rulers, the custodians of our culture and tradition, the governor took time to appreciate them for their prayers and support all through the trying times.
