Anambra South senatorial by-election: Emmanuel Nwachukwu clinches APGA ticket

Emmanuel Nwachukwu, an accountant, has emerged as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Anambra south senatorial district by-election scheduled for August 16, 2025.

The by-election is being held to fill the vacant seat created following the death of Ifeanyi Ubah, its former occupant who died on July 27, 2024, in London after a brief illness.

Nwachukwu, a banker, entrepreneur, and politician was unanimously endorsed by party stakeholders, reflecting strong confidence in his candidacy.
