In just 13 days, the proactive voter mobilization effort of the Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon (APK), has recorded a remarkable 13,992 online preregistrations for Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

The milestone reflects a significant step in deepening civic participation and electoral readiness within Olorunda, positioning the community as a model of grassroots democracy in Lagos State.

Hon. Kumayon, who has consistently championed people-focused initiatives, emphasized that credible elections begin with voter registration, stressing the need for all eligible residents to take part in the process. “Our goal is simple — to ensure every resident who is eligible to vote is empowered to do so. Democracy thrives when people actively participate,” he noted.

Under his leadership, Olorunda LCDA has continued to roll out innovative programmes aimed at empowerment, inclusion, and good governance at the grassroots, with the PVC preregistration drive standing as a clear demonstration of that commitment.
