Stakeholders Commend Police Formation in Badagry for Crackdown on Suspected Criminals

…say regular security measures will reduce crime in the area

The Association of Landlords and Tenants in Magbon, Airfield, Oko Afo, and Araromi Ale communities in Badagry, Lagos State, has commended the Nigeria Police for its swift crackdown on suspected criminals in the area.

The group praised the Area Commander, Area K, Morogbo, Mr. Smith Adeleke, for his timely intervention, which led to a successful raid on identified black spots in the communities.

Residents had recently raised alarm over a wave of robberies that swept through the area, leading to loss of lives and property. In response, police intensified both foot and vehicular patrols to curb the attacks.

A senior police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed that the operation had already yielded positive results, with several suspects arrested.

He assured residents that the command would sustain its efforts until all criminal elements were flushed out, stressing the commitment of the police to safeguarding lives and property in Badagry.
