Ogunlende harps on dangers of drugs to youths in the society
Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Social Development Mobolaji Ogunlende on Tuesday was the Special Guest of Honour at the One-Day Seminar on “The Dangers of Drug Abuse, Cultism, and Yahoo (Cybercrime) and the Need to Acquire Entrepreneurial Skills,” organised by BHF Foundation in collaboration with the Lagos State KICK Against Drug Abuse (LASKADA), an agency under our ministry.

The seminar featured insightful presentations from guest speakers drawn from the NDLEA and other key stakeholders, who sensitised participants on the harmful consequences of these societal vices and the urgent need to embrace positive, productive alternatives.
As part of the event, He also inaugurated four students from four different schools as Drug Ambassadors, in recognition of their attentiveness during the programme and the courage they displayed in coming forward to answer questions from the speakers.

This initiative represents yet another step in our ongoing commitment to curb societal menaces by proactively engaging Lagos residents, inspiring positive choices, and rebuilding our communities one mind at a time.
