Lands bureau sensitises Eti-Osa LGA residents on property regularisation
Acting on the directive of the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Lands Bureau, Mr. Kamar Olowoshago, the Director of Land Regularisation in the Bureau, Esv. Hakeem Bakare’s team has embarked on an enforcement and sensitisation exercise in the Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Oke-Ira Nla.
According to Esv. Bakare, the exercise was aimed at educating and sensitising residents on the importance of regularising their properties, in line with Lagos State land administration policies and regulations.
During the exercise, the officials of the Bureau engaged with property owners on the benefits of proper documentation, security of tenure and compliance with statutory requirements.
Residents were encouraged to take advantage of the State Government’s land regularisation processes to avoid future encumbrances and ensure peace of mind, as the Lands Bureau reaffirmed its commitment to orderly land management and sustainable urban development across Lagos State.
