KAI removes shanties and makeshift kiosks under power lines in Oko Afo along Badagry Express Road
Men of Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) IN Oloruda LCDA swung into action on Thursday, removing shops and kiosks under power line in Oko Afo Hus stop along Lahos Bada Road.
A victim simply identified as Lucy said they were served evacuation notice, but they thought it was jokebuntil men of the task force stormed the area and started dismantling the kiosks before the reality dawn on them.
An official of KAI explained that the kiosks pose a serious risk to the users as they are constructed under the 33kVA lines, adding that dismantling the kiosks will improve safety and cleaner environment for residents in the area.
