First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu visits Benue State

… Commiserate with Gov Alia over killings in Yelwata,Dauda communities, as she donates 1bn naira to victims

First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu on Tuesday visited Benue State, to commiserate with Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia and the people over the heartbreaking killings in Yelwata and Dauda communities.

In her address, she said:
“As a mother, I urged all to embrace peace and let love lead. Violence is never the answer—dialogue and unity is the true path to progress.
“Benue, our nation’s food basket, must be safe again. I assured them that their concerns would be conveyed to Mr. President and relevant authorities.
On behalf of the Renewed Hope Initiative, I presented a ₦1 billion support fund to assist victims in rebuilding their lives and livelihoods.
