AASMACS 2000 Elects New Executive Committee for Two-Year Term
The Association of Mass Communication Students, Class of 2000 (AASMACS 2000), has elected a new executive committee to oversee its affairs for the next two years.
The election, which was conducted online under the supervision of the Electoral Committee led by Mr. Tunde Ilechukwu concluded with Mr. Sunday Odo emerging as President after defeating Mrs. Rose Ezeugwu in a closely contested race.
According to Mr. Ikechukwu, all other candidates for various executive positions were returned unopposed. The newly elected officers are as follows:
Vice President: Chielo Ezenwa Victor
Secretary: Nneka Martha Okolie
Provost: Jesse Batubo
Public Relations Officer (PRO): Brown Ndikonye Chimezie
Director of Socials (DOS): Amaka Sylverline Onuoha
Deputy Director of Socials: Iheanyichukwu Azode
Treasurer: Ijeoma Ugwoegbu (Nwaozuzu)
Financial Secretary: Leticia Hudayans
Mr. Ilechukwu also announced that the newly elected executives will be formally inaugurated during the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to hold on October 30th in Owerri, Imo State.
