Provost Marshal honours retiring Corps RSMs for 35 years of dedicated service

The Provost Marshal (Army), Major General Mathias Oyinmeibi Erebulu, has honoured two senior non-commissioned officers, Army Warrant Officer (AWO) Bernardine Anyanwu and Master Warrant Officer (MWO) Nandul, during a colourful send-off ceremony marking their retirement after 35 years of meritorious service in the Nigerian Army.

The retired personnel served as the outgoing and former Corps Regimental Sergeant Major of the Headquarters Nigerian Army Corps of Military Police.

They were recognised for their professionalism, discipline, dedication, and outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the Corps throughout their military careers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Erebulu praised the retirees for their loyalty, diligence, and selfless service to the nation.

He described their successful retirement as a remarkable achievement and said their commitment to duty had left a lasting legacy that would continue to inspire younger soldiers.

The Provost Marshal noted that the event was organised not only to celebrate the retirees but also to thank God for granting them successful and fulfilling military careers.

He urged serving personnel to remain disciplined, hardworking, and committed to their responsibilities, stressing that integrity, loyalty, and dedication are qualities that will always be recognised and rewarded in the Nigerian Army.

The ceremony was attended by officers, soldiers, family members, friends, and well-wishers, who gathered to celebrate the retirees and appreciate their remarkable service to the Nigerian Army and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
