CCST Commander Visits Sector 3 OPHK/MNJTF, Commissions Gymnasium in Monguno
The Commander Corps of Supply and Transport (CCST), Major General Emmanuel Anaryu, on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, undertook a familiarization visit to Headquarters Sector 3 Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) and the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Monguno.
The CCST was warmly received by the Acting Commander, Sector 3, Brigadier General Suleiman Tilawan, before proceeding to commission the newly established Sector 3 Gymnasium.
Speaking during the event, Major General Anaryu explained that the visit was part of his wider tour of Supply and Transport formations across the theatre, designed to interface directly with officers and obtain first-hand knowledge of logistics requirements to better support ongoing operations.
He expressed satisfaction with the initiatives implemented by the Sector Commander to enhance troop welfare and urged personnel to make effective use of the gymnasium to maintain fitness. The CCST further pledged robust support in logistics, driver training, and other critical areas, while charging troops to uphold professionalism, accountability, and discipline, which he described as the bedrock of the Nigerian Army.
In his remarks, Brigadier General Tilawan described the visit as a morale booster for officers and soldiers alike. He stressed that logistics remain the backbone of military operations and appealed for greater support in deploying trained drivers to strengthen the Sector’s operational effectiveness.
