Gov. Mbah Commends SAGA Foundation Canada for Donation of Healthcare Materials to ESUTH

Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, has praised the SAGA Foundation Inc., Canada, for its generous donation of healthcare materials to the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital (ESUTH).

In a statement, Gov. Mbah expressed deep gratitude to the foundation’s founder, Dr. Shola Agboola, describing the gesture as a model of partnership between the diaspora and the homeland.

“On behalf of the government and people of Enugu, I extend heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Shola Agboola, Founder of SAGA Foundation Inc., Canada, for his generous donation of vital medical supplies and equipment to ESUTH.

This act of service goes beyond charity—it is a reaffirmation of the bond between our brothers and sisters in the diaspora and the homeland we share,” Gov. Mbah said.

He further noted that the donation aligns with his administration’s vision of repositioning healthcare as a priority sector, ensuring that every citizen has access to quality medical services.

Mbah emphasized the importance of diaspora partnerships, urging more individuals and organizations to join in building a stronger healthcare system for the people of Enugu.

“Together, we can strengthen our healthcare infrastructure, empower our professionals, and give Ndi Enugu the world-class care they deserve,” he concluded.
