Commissioner for Tourism, Sports parlleys stakeholders on grassroots Sports development
The Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, on Thursday, 31st July 2025, received a delegation led by the Chairman of Ibile Microfinance Bank, Hon. Kolawole Taiwo, along with the Managing Director of Afro Root Nation, Dr. Promise Jacob and Comrade Collins Olaseni during a courtesy visit to her office in Alausa, Ikeja.
In a similar development, the Commissioner also welcomed the Chief Executive Officer of Purplefire Entertainment, Sasha P, and the Convener of That Good International Festival, Toyosi Etim-Effiong, on a separate courtesy visit.
The visits were aimed at fostering strategic collaboration with the Lagos State Government to promote grassroots tourism, enhance cultural development, and expand the reach of cultural festivals and creative enterprise initiatives across communities in the state.
