My beloved people, today I reflect on a cherished moment—the day His Royal Majesty, the Ooni of Ife, paid me a courtesy visit. That day was more than an encounter between two leaders; it was a reminder that in life, those who open our eyes to new ways of thinking are treasures we must hold close.

Too often, we confine ourselves to what we already know, what we were taught, or what our immediate environment reveals. Yet destiny has a way of lifting us higher when we meet men and women who challenge our perspectives, stretch our minds, and push us beyond the ordinary. Such people are not merely companions—they are guides, light-bearers, living testimonies that growth is a journey, not a destination.

The Ooni’s visit was not only a royal courtesy; it was a meeting of ideas, culture, heritage, and wisdom. In his words and presence lay a lesson: true greatness is not measured by titles, but by the power to inspire, to uplift, and to plant seeds of change in others.

Let us remember: the company we keep matters. If those around you do not inspire you to think better, dream higher, and live wiser, then you may be limiting your own growth. Surround yourself with those who broaden your vision, who remind you that life extends far beyond comfort zones.

That royal encounter reminded me that every meeting in life is either a step forward or a step back. Choose your encounters wisely. Seek wisdom. Embrace knowledge. Value those who help you see life from a wider lens.

My prayer for you this week is simple: may you meet people who not only walk beside you, but who also elevate your mind and spirit. May you find mentors, friends, and companions who draw out your greatness. And may your journey always attract those who bring light to your path.

Be encouraged…
